The Proof-reader and Writer is responsible for making sure all the text used in any type of video project is grammatically correct, accurate and relevant. They must understand the difference between British and American spelling and be able to master the church terminology.

They will need to be able to proof-read text translated from Portuguese or Spanish in a fast and efficient manner. They will need to make sure all the details and facts are correct and pertinent.

We expect the person to be able to write scripts for adverts, for documentaries and voice overs in general from scratch, and to be able to understand a quick brief and translate it into a well written text. They will need to work closely with the Production team (producers, translators etc) and have a grasp of how audio recordings work. They will be asked to direct audio dubbings and to record pieces to camera at times.
