As a Project Manager at Walt Disney Imagineering UK, you will report to the Senior Project Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, first-of-their-kind projects. You'll be part of a newly formed team in London supporting the expansion of Disney Cruise Line portfolio.Walt Disney Imagineering is the creative force that imagines, designs, and brings to life all Disney theme parks, resorts, attractions, and cruise ships worldwide. Working across a spectrum of disciplines that range from creative and conceptual to scientific and technical, Imagineers blend an innovative mixture of storytelling, art, science, and technology to create immersive experiences, memorable destinations, and innovative entertainment for families around the globe.This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week with opportunities for short periods of travel. This role is a fixed-term contract until Dec 2029.What You Will DoSupport and collaborate with the Senior Project Manager on all aspects of project management, from scope, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery; under minimal supervisionSet priorities and provide direction to project teamsDevelop integrated delivery strategies, budgets, schedules, and resource plansLead change management and risk mitigation and contingency effortsPrepare and negotiate basic contracts and manage contractor complianceCollaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to influence timelines and outcomesDevelop the Capital Authorization Requests Track project documentation and ensure quality deliverablesContribute to a culture of continuous learningRequired Qualifications & SkillsSignificant experience in a large-scale project management architecture or construction management environmentExperience in shipbuilding, cruise ships, or themed entertainmentAbility to adapt to evolving project needs and collaborate across diverse teamsStrong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, incl communications for executive managementAbility to read and coordinate drawings and 3D using the Autodesk suiteStrong knowledge of project management capabilitiesExpert user of MS Office suite (especially using MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint)Ability to guide project team towards resolution of issues through strong facilitation skills, incl Designers, Architects and Construction ManagersInfluence senior management in decision making regarding complex issues.Maintain positive relationships with studios, WDI partners, vendors, and consultants.Influence commercial and schedule issues through clear identification of critical issues and drivers, thoughtful analysis, and well-articulated positions.Confidence in guiding teams in a highly matrixed and international environmentA collaborative spirit and a passion for storytelling through designPreferred QualificationsA degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, architecture, construction management, or equivalent experienceExperience in shipbuilding, cruise ships, or themed entertainment highly desirable
