GMAC Film is excited to announce that we are recruiting a Short Film Project Manager to join our small creative team to lead a new short film commissioning scheme for Scotland.

As part of our Filmmakers Programme, GMAC Film will launch Little Pictures in August 2020. This will be a new micro-budget commissioning scheme for people from under-represented groups with little or no filmmaking experience. It will encourage new filmmakers to develop their voice, take creative risks and will help to develop the pipeline of filmmaking talent from under-represented groups in Scotland. It will proactively seek out new and diverse voices and support them through the commissioning, production and distribution processes.

The right person will have experience of film and/or tv production and will be passionate about increasing the equality, diversity and inclusion in Scotland's screen sector. They will be a supportive leader with strong organisational skills and experience in delivering film projects to funders. They will be happy to use their contacts and experience of working in Scotland's screen industry to promote the commissioned filmmakers and the Little Pictures programme.

The contract is for an initial period of 9 months, with the option to extend (funding dependent). The post is full time. GMAC Film is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes proposals for flexible working and job sharing.
