Project Manager


Job Summary: Finding and delivering casting projects to enhance Mad Dog 2020's reputation. Client Liaison • Principle project manager for the client, i.e. 2nd AD, 3rd AD, Production Manager, Casting Director. • Forming, developing and sustaining professional and positive working relationships with clients. • Increase sale through a weekly process of monitoring, approaching and following up on new business. Project Management • The delivery of supporting artists for TV, films and commercials from the initial brief through to the close of accounts. • Arranging and co-coordinating special registrations. • Artist communication - maintaining positive relationships with artists through best process • Daily delivery of look books of suitable options on a brief for clients • Negotiation of rates and buyouts where appropriate • Outreaching for new artist and categories • Maximising the efficiently of the company database • Quality control • Monitoring past projects and release dates, and communicating dates to Head of Casting • To provide a prompt weekly report as requested by Head of Casting • Responsible for gaining feedback from clients Business Development and Sales • Contacting new and existing clients to create more revenue • Working towards personal and departmental sales targets • Assisting with new strategies to develop client relationships Staff Management • Supporting the Head of Wales, Mad Dog 2020 in the training and development of freelancers, interns and apprentices. • Supporting fellow project managers in the delivery of their projects, as required Essential Skills • Excellent phone manner and e-mail correspondence skills • Highly organised, efficient and able to multi-task • Good understanding of word and excel as well as ability to navigate internal systems Essential Characteristics: • Consistent professional demeanour • Confident and upbeat • Full of initiative • Dedicated and hard-working attitude • Resilient and cool under pressure, 'no problem' attitude • Confident working autonomously • Ability to cope well under pressure and work at a fast pace • Excellent interpersonal skills • Great team player Desirable Skills / Experience • Experience working in an educational / teaching setting • Experience working in film and television production, advertising / sales • Experience managing projects • Proven record of ability to multi-task to a high standard **Please send CV and Cover Letter **Interviews will take place on 18th and 19th October 2018 Thank you, Mad Dog 2020 Casting
