Disegno Works is recruiting a project coordinator to join its team in London.Creative consultancy Disegno Works is seeking a project coordinator to work across all of its activities, as well as supporting the work of the quarterly design journal Disegno.Disegno Works is a creative consultancy delivering commercial projects for clients in the design field. Projects range from copywriting and advertorials; brand magazines and catalogues; translation services; films and podcasts; to exhibitions and special events.Disegno is the leading quarterly magazine dedicated to in-depth reporting on architecture, design and fashion. The magazine is based in London, but its remit is international. Disegno is distributed worldwide by the independent publisher Tack Press. Disegno also runs DisegnoDaily.com.The project coordinator will be responsible for delivering all commercial projects for Disegno Works. They will work directly with clients and report to Disegno Works' head of editorial and commercial director. They will play a key role in shaping the identity of Disegno Works as the agency grows and gains new clients.The project coordinator will be responsible for bringing all Disegno Works projects in on-time and to budget, maintaining excellent relations with clients and contributors throughout. The project coordinator will also manage updates to the Disegno Works website, as well as its social media channels, making sure that all projects and communication around launches and news are up-to-date.In addition to this, the project coordinator will work with the editorial staff of Disegno to help deliver projects undertaken by the journal. These may include photo shoots and editorial events, as well as any commercial commitments. They will also manage the journal's subscription lists.The successful applicant will have proven project-coordinating experience and some experience of working alongside editorial. The role would suit someone who enjoys multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously to strict deadlines. The successful applicant will have an eye for detail and a keen interest in the design field.Essential skills and experience:- excellent written and spoken English- excellent organisational skills- proven experience of project managing (of events, exhibitions, talks or similar)- excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with many stakeholders- proficiency in Photoshop, Indesign, Word and Excel- experience of managing social media accounts and using online platforms such as WordPress to update websitesDesirable skills and experience:- a good network of contacts in the design field- experience of pitching ideas and generating content- experience of commissioning content- experience of writing copy to deadline
