Programme Coordination Assistant

London

We are seeking a Programme Coordination Assistant to work on the BFI Festivals team across programme research and acquisitions for the BFI London Film Festival and BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival.

Key Responsibilities

Driving timelines around the submissions process for both festivals (this includes both film and XR submissions)
Ensuring all materials relating to open submissions (e.g. submission forms, rules and regulations and so forth) are collated, signed off and supplied to relevant parties ahead of the launch.
Uploading all open submissions to our database to allow programmers viewing access on a regular basis.

Skills & Experience

Experience working or volunteering in a cultural organisation in a programme or administrative capacity.
A demonstrable interest in a career in film festival including the delivery and programme management.
A demonstrable interest in world and LGBTIQ+ cinema.

The role is predominantly based at BFI Southbank, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working remotely from home until the foreseeable future.
