Dive into the underworld with Disney's new West End musical, Hercules.Theatre Royal Drury Lane are excited to be recruiting for Production Technicians to work on various LX plots to facilitate the smooth and safe running of the show.In this role, you'll be part of a multi-skilled team, who will deliver stage LX and operate follow-spots to facilitate the run of this production, which is new to the west end. You'll work closely with other technical teams to maintain the production to the highest quality and standard.What you'll be doing...- Working on all shows and rehearsals of Hercules the Musical.- You will learn and perform the below tracks and rotate around with the rest of the team: - Followspots - Stage Electrics- As part of the Production Technician team, you will be preparing the show each day and helping to conduct safety checks.- Working closely with the visiting company and its Stage Management to ensure the smooth and safe operation of each show. - Working as part of a team to maintain a professional work environment, where performers, technicians and audience members are safe.- Problem solving during live performances.- Assist with rig checks for the show.- Conducting maintenance on the lighting rig.- Some roles may require supervisory responsibilities.- Ad hoc project work as directed by the senior team.- Manual handling is necessary in these roles and training will be provided.What we need...- Open minded with a willingness to learn and undertake training.- A proactive and professional manner with good timekeeping. - A conscientious approach; accurate and with an eye for detail.- Logical and methodical, with the ability to follow instruction precisely.- Adaptable, with the ability to use initiative in identifying problems and working with the team to find solutions.- Technical theatre experience in West End venues, regional theatre or touring productions would be advantageous. - Willing to work evenings and weekends.Salary: £40 705.60 per annum, 40 hours a week, over 6 daysDeadline for application: 9th November 2025Diversity & Inclusion At LW Theatres, we pride ourselves on being a family of individuals and actively welcome applicants from all backgrounds - it's one of our core values and we believe celebrating our differences is key to success.At the heart of our Company is a culture of inclusion where everyone feels seen and heard and can be themselves at work.
