This is a desk based role at the multichannel broadcaster, UKTV. UKTV's commissioning department is responsible for the development, commissioning and execution of commissioned, co-productions and advertising funded programmes/product placement projects across the UKTV channels. We operate a fully 360 model of commissioning with particular focus on the commercial opportunities offered by our investment into original content. The department works in broad genre terms across factual, lifestyle, scripted comedy, drama and entertainment.Key Responsibilities- Support the Production Management Team to ensure smooth delivery of productions from development through to transmission.- Support the Delivery Manager helping to update the commissioning tracker, raising purchase orders, monitoring stage payments to production companies and communicating changes in delivery of programmes.- Liaise with the marketing, press, social and digital departments to assist tracking delivery of final programme materials.- Track progression stages of each commission, monitoring deadlines and changes and then updating schedules and trackers to inform the team.- Assisting the Production Execs by liaising with legal and business affairs, compliance and the commissioners for internal form completion and distribution.- Assisting the PM team to support production companies when using Albert and Diversity Schemes.- Updating Diversity Capture Report;- Managing and updating the Producer Pack.Knowledge, skills & experience- An experienced Production Team Co-Ordinator with an excellent track record of end to end production experience either for a production company or a broadcaster.- Excellent communication and presentation skills;- A proactive member of the team who is able to use their own initiative, is self motivated and has a flexible approach to work.- Be comfortable with a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities. Needs to be able to multitask.- Impeccable attention to detail;- Strong IT skills, particularly the use of Excel;- Pro-active and a problem solver;- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across a number of departments and services.- A working knowledge of Soundmouse and Silvermouse.- A genuine passion for TV
