Production & Studio Manager

London

We are leaders in the global superyacht market and due to continued growth, we have created a new role designed to manage all areas of our media production. Media flows through everything we do - photography, film, digital design, print design and marketing. Therefore, this role is critical in our goal of providing clients the very best service and brand experience.

You will play a key role in organising schedules, shoot locations, logistics, resources, budgets and people in pre-production, during production and post production. Together with others in the team, you will liaise with clients during each phase.

You will also be involved with the development of Breed Media and play an active role in it's continued growth. Think of it as the glue in everything we do. In addition to production related tasks, you will also take the central role in the management of our studio based in Wimbledon Park, London. Therefore, a knowledge of media file management and systems is required.

The superyacht industry operates seven days a week, so the successful candidate will occasionally have to be available after hours, during weekends and public holidays to assist as needed.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To do this job successfully and ensure that everything runs smoothly, applicants should have solid experience in all aspects of today's media production business. While a formal qualification, such as a bachelor's degree, can be valuable, wide-ranging significant experience in all the practical aspects of production, such as, film production, film editing, digital design, and media management are more important. As this role is also responsible for preparing quotes and managing production budgets, financial abilities and knowledge are required.

Key skills and experience :
1. A good level of understanding of a range of Apple media editing and production software as well as being proficient with Microsoft Office
2. Experience of preparing quotes and managing production budgets.
3. The ability to establish relationships and maintain a positive rapport with colleagues, clients, vendors and suppliers
4. Strong oral and written communication skills
5. Creative problem solver, resourceful, and a team player
6. Calm and flexible approach to handling the pressure and stress of ever-changing demands
7. Highly organized with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet strict deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
8. Ambitious, proactive and flexible when dealing with ever-changing situations
9. Willing to travel when required
10. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels
