We are a TV production company based in Surrey, specialising in sport and cycling in particular. We are looking for a production secretary/co-ordinator with experience of live and studio-based sports programming. Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in a sports production environment. Knowledge of Silvermouse would be advantageous. Duties include booking travel and hotels, updating budgets, co-ordinating facilities and freelancers and completing programme paperwork. Some accounts work will be required for which training will be given. We are a small company so anyone joining is expected to muck in with all tasks including making the tea. For some productions the candidate will be required to be on location and much of our studio work is based in Ealing where we re-locate for up to two months a year. A driving licence is essential and good spoken French an asset. Strong IT skills and a good knowledge of word and excel are required. The job starts immediately and will initially be for six months. It is possible it could become a permanent appointment for the right candidate. The job would suit a good all rounder with a positive work ethic.
