Chocolate Films produces video content for museums, art galleries, charities and corporate clients. We run Chocolate Films as a social enterprise and use part of our profits to empower young people and vulnerable adults to be creative, through fun and accessible filmmaking experiences.The role of Production Office Assistant is an essential member of the team working across all elements of the workshop programmes and productions. This position will largely involve supporting the team in the production office in many ways: production and workshops production management, office management, post-production management, finance/accounting and sales and marketing).The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with a positive flexible attitude, who is keen to work as part of a busy team. You must relish problem-solving and be able to make cost-effective decisions for the benefit of the organisation. While experience is desirable, it's not essential.You will be responsible for client facing work at the office:• Answering phones/ taking messages• Arranging virtual meetings• Calendar management/ Organising diary entry• Supporting with Covid-19 safety precautions in the Chocolate Films Studio• Booking travel and accommodation • Organising kit hire and locations • Ensuring that edit and shoot notes are updated each day.• Database entry• Ensuring the smooth running of the office• Ad Hoc admin, as requiredYou will be responsible for supporting with the companies social media:• Digital marketing, such as supporting social media and Youtube presence• Creating social media campaigns on social for productions/projects and advocacy of the companyYou will have specific responsibilities such as:• Filing and managing release forms.• Purchasing • Sending post/couriers/deliveries• Ensuring that the kit room and office remain tidy and presentable• Organising repairs, service and maintenance of kit• Installing software/plugins on computersYou will also support the production and filmmaking team at Chocolate Films' office with the following tasks:• Onboarding new staff• Calendar managementDesired attributes include• Software: Google Docs, Basecamp, WeTransfer• Clean driving license.Payment: Annual salary starting of £21,157.50 (based on London Living Wage)Chocolate Films is an equal opportunities employer.Duration: An initial 6 month probationary period with a view to a longer term full-time position.
