Production Manager required to work alongside the Head of Production (HoP) and our Directors across two companies: our channel is renowned for sports TV coverage and are experts in internet TV and corporate productions.

The role requires the applicant to be responsible for crew bookings, flights and all other aspects of planning for productions anywhere; preparing call sheets, carnets, insurance, and working with the kit room to ensure every detail is checked in advance so the equipment is present and working; in fact everything that goes into a smooth operation to enable the team to 'hit the ground running' wherever they arrive for a job!

In addition to this, must have WP skills, knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, (SAGE a great advantage too), as they must be able to not only track all budget expenditure on jobs, but control it, and report this to the HoP and the CFO.

We are looking for someone who ideally has a track record, knows what goes into production work, (ideally with experience of internet broadcasting too), and can manage the ever increasing workload that the two companies are undertaking. We have our own edits suites, and all equipment, this needs tracking, the HoP needs help scheduling edit suite movements and planning, crew rosters, and tape tracking to broadcasters etc.

Make no mistake; this is a full-on, totally integrated and key role within the production side of our rapidly expanding company. You need to be strong willed, and able to politely deal with both staff and clients, while ensuring all comply with company rules, regulations and policies.

There is however, an exciting and fun atmosphere working here, so if you don't have a sense of humour, patience, and yet the necessary attention to detail, then don't bother applying!! We are based in Battersea, south of the Thames in SW8 where the hub of our production is based. There may be the odd opportunity to travel but don't bank on it!
