Reporting to the Head of Production and Production Executive, the Production Manager will be responsible for the management of studio programmes, budgets, personnel and logistics for PLP, working in a collaborative fashion with the studio editorial team, production staff and cross-departments (e.g. - Studio Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management etc.) to ensure appropriate planning and decision-making regarding budgetary and operational execution.Key responsibilities will include managing the overall live Premier League studio show schedule, including crew and production staff within a 24/7 live environment; managing studio programme budgets, cost reports, forecasts and preparing a quarterly finance report for Production executive & Production accountant; developing effective relationships with internal facility providers and other external suppliers, ensuring regular communication. The Production manager will also attend regular production meetings to ensure clear communication, dissemination of information, acknowledge accomplishments and discuss challenges. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the dissemination of production reports; including knowing what the information means, gaps that require discussion and trends that appear.Applicants must have experience in production management, operations or sports environment, with emphasis on logistics and scheduling within a live environment; experience managing a large production team; experience working on live studio, outside broadcast magazine or sports/entertainment programming; experience creating and managing large production budgets and must have extensive knowledge of post- production paperwork, archive clearance, music clearance, filming permits, contracts, insurance, risk assessments and Health and Safety. Previous experience on football programming would be highly advantageous. PLEASE NOTE: The role will involve will require occasional late start/finishes, occasional weekend working and working across the Christmas period. The role will be based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
