Here is our company showreel to give you a sense: https://f.io/mTs_ZKpt We're fulfilling a wide range of projects from high budget film commissions, to monthly content creation and social media management, and we're now looking for a project manager to coordinate all of this activity, to ensure that our team can be creative, and that we can do great work with a smile. Achieving this vision requires the addition of a project manager that is highly organised, detail oriented, and someone who has the ability to bring the best out of our team. We're looking for the type of person who relishes the challenge of organising a busy schedule of projects with lots of moving parts, pushing projects forward, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The main responsibilities are as follows:- Planning the work needs to be done, when it needs to be completed and who's going to do it. - Planning locations, booking actors, sourcing freelance team members etc to facilitate both the creative and social media teams in being successful. - Looking at the risks involved in a particular project and managing these risks.- Making sure the work is completed to the right standard.- Motivating the team of people involved in the project.- Co-ordinating work completed by different people or departments.- Making sure the project is running on time and to budget.- Dealing with changes to the project as and when necessary.- Making sure the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits.- Being the point of contact / constant presence for the client throughout the duration of the project / contract. - Communicating project updates to the client, and managing the clients expectations on project implementation. Systems & processes responsibilities:- Assessing the needs of our clients as well as the needs of Origins and recommending updated and/or new processes to streamline delivery.- Implementation of a project management tool (or furthering existing pm tool) to serve the needs of each of our clients, as well as enabling the team to clearly understand key project details. - Resource management to ensure the workload is evenly distributed and the team knows what they're meant to be doing.- Spotting scope creep and escalating this to business Director. - Looking out for any internal or external issues which may cause issues for project delivery and escalating to the business Director. Experience5 years experience in either project management (for an agency) or as a production coordinator within film/video. Salary £28k - £30k dependent upon experience
