MarcoPolo Learning is a rapidly growing children's educational media company and it is looking to expand its amazing team! We design products that educate and inspire millions of children worldwide. We're a close-knit, collaborative group that obsesses about visual design, animation, and creating original educational content for kids.

We're looking for a production manager with the experience and confidence to lead teams through an often, changeable pipeline. The suitable candidate will have strong leadership abilities in order to manage the production process and make/communicate decisions with various team members - animators, developers, designers etc. as well as managing the expectations of senior management and tight deadlines.

We are looking for a person with a passion for kids' interactive media. A strong communicator/leader with the ability to ideate and create those experiences.

Responsibilities
Working in close collaboration with animation, designers, product and development team members to drive product vision from concept through to implementation.
Manage projects, timelines, and communication between teams with one eye always on the deadline.
Create project schedules, timelines and sprints to track and manage workflows
Use project management software (Asana/Jira) to create tasks and manage workload and deadlines.
Provide weekly status reports to communicate progress
Ability to apply their broad knowledge and experience within application development to the kid's space, including, animation, gaming, toys, off-line educational products or learning apps.
Working with the Head of Production and producers to resource current and upcoming projects efficiently.

Requirements
Must have production experience in the kids' interactive media, animation and/or gaming industry.
Ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritize accordingly.
Proven track record influencing product direction with actionable insights.
Eloquent communicator, comfortable with different communication styles needed for developers, designers, animators and business stakeholders.
Excellent technical, problem-solving, quality assurance, organizational, and analytical skills.
Must have strong judgment/analytical problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail, organized, good follow-through.
Innovative and creative thinker.
A self starter who is willing to take ownership of tasks and projects from start to end
