The Role

(See below) needs an experienced Entertainment Production Manager for this returning large Sky1HD series.

Experience includes:

• All budget management from pre- green light to final post and delivery
• Have good understanding of all up to date broadcast and production technology and proven experience of delivering an entertainment series
• Staffing production team
• Crewing studio
• Negotiating all deals, including Post, Studio, OB's (if required) SFX etc
• Ensuring paperwork is delivered accurately and on time
• Contracts - Production team, Artist and Writer's
• Health and Safety including Risk Assessments - writing and signing off
• Insurance - ensuring all activities are properly covered and all artists, guest and production are covered and signed off prior to any activity.
• Scheduling - studio - including rig/get in and get out, and all records
• Post - including 2D, 3D and 5.1 sound
• Staffing timelines
• Liaising/communicating between 3rd parties on behalf of production
• Managing the team - making sure moral is good and team are performing
• Appraisal /objective setting - if required
• Giving Feedback - positive and negative
• Knowledge of the production process and rules and regulations for organisations such as Equity, working with children, Music union etc
• Require good contacts for many facilities
• Excellent people skills are essential.
