It's co-owned by Sony Pictures Television and is a seven-times Broadcast Best Places to Work.We are looking for a Production Manager to join the team in Whisper Create.Whisper Create is a division of Whisper working with international brands such as Peloton, Red Bull, UBS and NEOM. The dynamic team produce high-level TVCs and a range of branded content.The post would suit a Production Manager with a keen interest in Motorsport, who is confident working to tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment. There will be foreign travel.Whisper is proud to be an equal opportunities employer, and we actively seek candidates from diversebackgrounds and communities.Responsibilities• Providing direct support to the Senior Production Manager, Production Executives and Head of Production, assisting with the communication of key production information to Producers, the editorial team and the wider Production Management team.• Preparing budgets for fast turnaround and complex shoots.• Planning the fast turnaround shoots including booking crews and travel arrangements in locations across the UK and worldwide.• Overseeing the delivery of complex call sheets with accurate and detailed movement orders including Risk Assessments.• Maintaining accurate financial records for each shoot; reporting any budgetary issues via cost managers.• Providing support to the wider Create team across their staffing and deliveries.• Understanding and distributing accurate client requirements to ensure that all deliverables and rushes are completed in a timely manner, in order to fulfil the brief.• Provide management support to the Production management team including managing workloads; maintaining cost managers; managing rotas and ensuring contracts are issued as and when necessary.• Implementing and promoting equality and diversity in the team and adhering to Health and Safety and GDPR policies.Skills• Experience and an interest in sport, motorsport and automotive is advantageous, as well as experience of co-ordinating international filming and working with service companies.• The ability to budget complex shoots and interpret the editorial vision with the Producers and provide viable options to the team.• Proven client-facing experience and sound commercial awareness.• Experience of managing multiple complex shoots at any one time.• You must have a strong background in booking crews in multiple locations.• Comfortable working in a pressurised environment within the production team.• Proven leadership skills including line managing team members which include a JPM, PC and PTA's as well as a strong team ethic.• Excellent organisational and time management skills.• You will have good prior knowledge of rights & music clearance; post-production paperwork & archive clearance.• Good technical knowledge, including camera kit.• Experience working with talent as well as specialist crew such a production designers, stylists, Hair & MUA and FPV drone operators would be beneficial.• A proactive attitude to work and promoting a positive work ethic in the team with the ability to advocate for the team and drive the shoot schedule.• Strong oral and written communication skills.• Ability to work on your own initiative.Location:The position is based at our Kew office, where we currently adopt a flexible working pattern of four days in-office and one day remotely.Working Days:Monday - Friday.
