Purpose of the Role:As Senior Production Manager at WildBrain you will be responsible for providing an essential production management function across all in-house and co-production activity (incl. pre & post-production). You will be responsible for all organisational aspects of production including scheduling and budgeting and will ensure all content is delivered on-time and on-budget. This role reports directly to the Head of Production.- Working with the producers, overseeing the efficient arrangement of resources, facilities and budgets for all content produced.- Working with producers and Finance to agree, log and manage all production budgets for content produced.- Managing the overall production budget.- Negotiating with talent/crew/agencies/suppliers to get the best deals for 3rd party services needed by production.- Ensuring all administration and paperwork is in place (contracts, licenses, clearances, releases) for productions.- Responsible for adherence to all aspects of health & safety, safeguarding, and any relevant guidelines and codes with respect to content production.- Overseeing the WildBrain Spark studio facility and equipment.- Working with the Head of Production and Head of Post-Production to manage resource allocations across production and post-production.- Plays a key role in the transformation of our production activities ensuring we adopt an efficient and dynamic approach to creating multi-platform content.Skills & Experience:- You have a proven track-record of successfully delivering multiple complex projects with knowledge of all aspects of production, design and post-production.- Highly numerate with experience of budget creation and management.- A strong team-player and manager with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.- Experience of production management systems, processes and regulations.- A strong team player and collaborator- Leads by example in delivering excellence in organisation, prioritisation and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment- Analytical, with ability to communicate to internal/external parties when required- A motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow and succeed- Professional and proactiveBenefitsWe care about work/life balance here at WildBrain Spark.
