Production Manager

London

Electric Noir Studios is looking for a Production Manager to oversee the delivery of four new seasons of the BAFTA nominated crime drama, Dead Man's Phone. Dead Man's Phone is a live-action, interactive crime drama for mobile, where you play the lead detective in solving murders by searching through the smartphone of victims.

We're a venture scale start-up at the beginning of a very exciting journey. Our ambition is to create the first, mass market, interactive platform for drama on mobile. What we're creating is right at the intersection between film, tv and games. Our mission statement is to become the HBO of story games and build a library of shows in multiple genres in this format.

Your role will be working closely with the creatives, producer, tech team, accounts and founders to organise, schedule, budget and oversee the making of the next four seasons of Dead Man's Phone. This will involve sourcing actors, locations, props, dealing with contracts, permits, and pay. You will work right through from pre to post production collecting and distributing the relevant materials to the rest of the team.

We're looking for someone who has ample experience in TV and film (1-3 credits), who's touched all parts of the process and delivered on multiple assignments. We're looking for a self-starter, someone who likes autonomy and working with a small team in a fast paced, startup environment. The candidate will have great communication skills, be extremely efficient and organised with a can-do approach.

ElectricNoir hires brilliant and diverse minds unified by one component - generosity of spirit. We define generosity of spirit as a sustained approach towards kindness, playfulness & curiosity. It's an instinct, but also a practice. One we try to nurture daily in ourselves and in others. And one that informs all our other company values. Generosity of spirit makes us better teachers and students - and allows us to switch freely between both roles. It makes us more attuned to each other's well being and candid about emotional health. It promotes diversity and inclusion for hedonistic reasons - exposure to different peoples, stories, ideas becomes a source of genuine interest and pleasure. It's why we distribute leadership across the studio and collaborate across disciplines. Ultimately, it's what empowers a fearless creative culture that can willfully accept failure as all part of the process.

To understand our business better we have created a memo where you can deep dive into our vision and culture:
