Production Manager

London

We are looking for a Production Manager to join our UK production arm. Start date Early March for a full-time Contract.

We are a global production company working with the biggest broadcasters and talent. We develop and produce formats, factual entertainment, comedy and docs. Through our network of online channels, we are perfectly positioned to develop and produce ideas that no other studio can. We work with new video platforms as well as traditional broadcasters to engage audiences, in the best way, on the right platform.

Reporting to the Director of Content, you'll be part of a friendly team including producers, directors, coordinator, editors, & Podcast Producers.

The Full Time Production Manager should have experience working across digital content for a range of platforms and it's an advantage if you also have broadcast experience. You should be confident with the multiple deliverables that surround that. You'll be agile - able to manage changing priorities and deadlines and able to cope with the challenges those bring. You will also be super organised (love a spreadsheet) and have great attention to detail.

You'll be the cornerstone of our in-house production team, working across multiple projects and juggling multiple deadlines. You'll be running our production schedule - allocating resource both from our internal team as well as freelancers.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding and practical demonstration of post-production and scheduling (included creating and managing complex sign off schedules), but also the experience in filming - crew and kit, health and safety, compliance etc.

You should be experienced in creating small and large budgets for both online and broadcast, short and long form where required. We use google sheet and Xero finance systems so please state if you are experience with that system. As the company is growing at a rapid rate you should be up for a challenge of working out and implementing better structures and should be a people person with a positive can-do attitude who's great at communication, problem solving and foreseeing any potential issues.

You will be the point of contact for clients and oversee reading and signing contracts for clients as well as talent, directors, writers and creators.

You will be the production Departments point of contact with finance and will ensure projects are properly budgeted, stuck to budget, cost reported and wrapped efficiently.

You will ensure the whole team works to the production structures in place and as we grow work at building these procedures to work more effectively. You will have to be on top of all contracts such as insurance, stock footage, music licencing etc.

You will need to demonstrate:
• Strong production management skills and a high degree of organisation.
• Stakeholder management and setting expectations.
• Comfortable taking charge of meetings and projects to maintain direction and pace.
• Team player with positive attitude that establishes good working relationships and responds to needs as they arise
• A strong understanding of the online production content and broadcast for both short form and long form.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively

Diversity is important to the company's ethos. Being different is therefore at our core - and we know that recruiting talent from diverse backgrounds encourages our work to be vibrant, creative and think differently. Our goal is also to be truly reflective of the makeup of society and we actively recruit from groups that are under-represented in the media sector, so we welcome differences be it ethnicity, religion, age, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation or disability.

The role is based in our offices in Shoreditch.
