Production Manager

London

We are seeking an experienced and established Production Manager to join our film team based at our offices in Imperial Wharf, London. Reporting to the Senior Production Manager and the Head of Film, the Production Manager is a key member of the team working closely with producers to make sure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

This is an exciting and varied role that requires a pro-active capable individual comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic agency environment that can remain calm under pressure.

The essentials
• Extensive experience of creating and managing budgets, small and large.
• Extensive experience of creative and managing production schedules for both small and large projects
• Experience of actualising budgets and wrapping production budgets once projects are completed.
• Experience of client wrangling. You will be used to dealing with clients, managing expectations and handling changing client requirements and schedules.
• Ability to appraise the statues of ongoing projects ensuring they have the skillsets and resource needed for successful completion. Identifying issues before they become problems, coming up with solution and implementing them.
• Ability to take a brief from our New Business department to develop a budget in line with the proposal to client.
• Ability and confidence to negotiate with suppliers (personnel and resource).
• Ability to resource shoots and projects with the ideal in house and freelance resource. You will be confident managing multiple shoots both in the UK and internationally, post production and animation booking, the hiring and negotiation with freelancers and contractors and have an established black book of trusted industry contacts.
• Proven ability to work within budget and within tight schedules to ensure delivery is on time.
• Experience creating call sheets and risk assessments. You will have knowledge of production insurance and health and safety.
• You will have extensive experience in producing and production management in an agency environment across a broad range of output along with substantial knowledge of end-to-end production workflows. You will be confident arranging a range of productions from commercials, high-end brand films and dramas through to ENG style editorial content.

• Experience using Farmers Wife and other production management tools
• Experience PM'ing TVCs / knowledge of clearcast / & TV / cinema and radio delivery.
