Production Manager for a feature documentary for BBC Arena and BFI shooting in Haiti Feb 2022

Tigerlily are looking for a PM with experience of international shoots for our forthcoming feature documentary which will shoot in Haiti from 20th Feb - 2nd March 2022. Prep starts in January 2022.

The shoot was stood down earlier this year but has now been rescheduled for 2022, so certain elements are already in place (local fixer and security, accommodation, editor and post production). The role does not include travel to Haiti and is only for the prep and shoot element of the production.

Our small crew will be travelling to Jacmel, in the south of Haiti, and we need production support to get our crew and kit out there, arrange translation of rushes, manage the risk assessments with First Option, covid protocols and insurance cover etc as well as be across the cost manager, and do regular cost reports. On this production we have a local team in Jacmel, and an experienced Haitian fixer/security person who has worked on BBC and ITV productions. One of our directors has previously made a film in Haiti and worked there over the last 20 years.

It could be potentially be a part time position if that suits, and could also be a position for a JPM or production co ordinator with experience of international shoots looking to step up.

This film will have an international festival and cinema release before it's premier in the BBC 2 Arena slot.
