Job RoleWe are currently seeking a Production Manager to join our Production team. This role is ideally suited to someone who has exceptional organisational skills, is an excellent communicator, and is able to embrace the management of changing and developing schedules. As the key point of liaison between our Production, Post, Content & QC, and Clearance & Rights teams, you will be responsible for ensuring clarity of status for our film and other asset driven productions, allowing teams to plan work accordingly. You will work closely with the Executive Producer, Producers, team leads, and other PMs, to devise and develop both short and long term schedules, identifying dependencies, ensuring risk is minimised, and being budget conscious. You will have the confidence to flag conflicting demands, and investigate and deploy workable solutions. Key Responsibilities:- Devise and develop short, medium and long term production schedules with team leads and the Head of Project Management- Liaise with team leads to monitor progress against schedules, and support the production team to deliver on time and to budget- Communicate changes to tasks, priorities or schedule to all relevant stakeholders- Identify and report risks to schedule, budget or quality- Support recruitment across Production, with the Executive Producer and HR- Work with other teams (Rights & Clearance, Content & QC, and Post Production) to critique, improve, and iterate workflows and media asset management systems so they are fit for current and future business needs- Document and update department workflows and manuals- Communicate changes to workflow to all relevant stakeholders- Monitor adherence to workflows and systems- Maintain a positive, supportive and rewarding working environment which promotes satisfaction and success for both individuals and the businessContract: Full time maternity cover (12 months)Salary: Commensurate with experience (circa £35k)Skills and ExperienceEssential:- A proven track record in managing high volume television, video or digital productions- Experience working on projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders- Excellent communication skills- Exceptional organisational skills - Flexibility and resilience - our projects have multiple, interdependent parts and continuously develop and adapt - High level Excel and/or Google Sheets skills Desirable:- Smartsheets experience or knowledge of the software would be advantageous What's in it for you?
