We are excited to hire a Production Manager to work on an episodic project. Based in Bristol with an immediate start for an initial 6 month contract. Remote working considered.Main responsibilities:General: * You will be the heart of the production, managing all aspects of the project * Developing and streamlining the production process and workflow * Establishing and maintaining the overall production schedule along with schedules for clients and internal schedules for artists * Main point of contact for all client communication * Managing the budget, providing quotes and bid estimates, accurately tracking costs and forecasting spend * Responsible for ensuring the project stays on budget whilst retaining quality of work and delivering within the timeframe * Ad hoc duties or work on other projects may be required to help the wider production team Specific: * Working with the Creative Director to break down shots and VFX requirements * Planning resources * Tracking using Shotgrid and spreadsheets as required * Ensuring all notes, shot statuses, tasks, feedback and any critical information are updated in Shotgrid on a timely basis and the team is updated * Keeping track of scope/budget changes and keeping clients updated * Responsible for client deliveries of work in progress and finals, ensuring accurate tracking at each stage of approval as outlined in the project contract * Managing client review sessions and circulating feedback * Taking clear, concise and accurate notes in all meetings and dailies sessions, ensuring artists have the required information as quickly as possible * Specific tasks will vary as the project developsRequired Skills and Experience: * Strong understanding of the VFX or Motion Graphics workflow * Proven record of delivering similar projects * Experience of using Shotgird * Strong knowledge of MS Office package (including Word, Excel) and Google sheets * Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to problem solve effectively in a fast paced environment * The ability to liaise and collaborate with Artists, Supervisors and Clients * Professional and friendly manner * Excellent organisational skills * Self driven, good communicator and a team player
