Matchroom Media is the production arm of Matchroom Sport. We produce and distribute live sporting events on a global scale as well as provide original documentaries and shoulder programmes across a range of broadcast platforms. Matchroom Media is one of the world's largest suppliers of sports programming and now produces over 1,000 hours of live original content.

We are now looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager.

Job Description:
Matchroom Media requires a highly experienced and motivated production manager to join their team based in Essex. The individual will be familiar working within a live broadcast environment and will have experience operating in a fast-paced climate while maintaining a clear head and a high level of attention to detail. The role is operating within high profile sports, engaging, managing, and liaising with filming and production crew, talent and suppliers while overseeing budgets, risk assessments and operational procedures.

Position Term: Full Time.
Location: Brentwood, Essex. Some remote work.

Responsibilities
• Create filming schedules and technical planning sheets
• Compile Risk Assessments and Health and Safety documentation
• Ensure operational and welfare standards are met across productions
• On site production management during live outside broadcasts
• Contract and maintain relationships with freelance staff and suppliers
• Organise all support facilities for productions
• Support the technical delivery of the live output to clients
• Manage budgets and cost reporting

Skills
• At least five years' experience as a production manager on live sports events for a major broadcaster
• Confident communicator
• Excellent project management and organisational experience
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Flexible with weekend work
