Crackit TV are looking for an experienced Production Manager or Line Producer for a new 10 part true crime series for a major UK broadcaster. This is not a step up or Jnr PM position and candidates should be able to demonstrate a solid background, at least 5 years, as a PM in factual programming for terrestrial broadcasters in the UK. The role will require a self-starter who can work independently to the Head of Production and confidently drive the schedule and filming plans alongside the Series Producer. Experience of high volume factual programming is a must, experience of the true crime genre hugely beneficial as is the ability to manage a tight schedule. Crackit works with PMI and it's essential for this role that the Production Manager is confident with accurate cost management and forecasting and is able to confidently negotiate freelancer and supplier terms in line with the budget and ensure solid deals are secured. Work is a minimum of 3 days per week from Crackit North's office in Manchester subject to the demands of the production.
