As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the scheduling, budgeting and managing of our production process across all original social assets that our team makes and commissions - ensuring our productions run effectively from initial prioritisation through to delivery. You'll help connect youth audiences with BBC shows like The Traitors, Drag Race UK, SAS Rogue Heroes, Gladiators, and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. This role offers the chance to lead exciting digital projects while developing your skills in innovation, leadership, and creative production. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:Manage day-to-day production operations across multiple digital and social campaigns.Oversee budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Support a digital content production team, with direct line management of a Production Management Apprentice.Coordinate all production logistics, including crew, kit, locations, permits, and talent travel.Ensure compliance with BBC editorial, legal, and health & safety policies.Collaborate with editorial and campaign teams to align production with creative goals. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL CRITERIA:Experience managing digital or multi-platform productions from planning through to delivery.Strong budgeting and scheduling skills, including experience managing annual budgets.Proven leadership and team development experience.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience negotiating contracts and managing production logistics in line with compliance standards.
