We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join ITV Leeds as a Production Maintenance Electrician on our award winning production, Emmerdale.

We have a variety of sets contained within our Studio Base at Kirkstall Road, where we record all our interior scenes. In addition we have more sets out at our main location, the Village. We require an electrician to cover our electrical needs within the sets, creating a maintenance routine to make sure all our lighting equipment and portable appliances within these sets are tested in a timely manner and maintained to the required standard.

There will be occasions when you are required to work on some corporate events, within the studio with production people and external clients. You will also work closely with our design and construction teams, playing a key role in any new set design electrical work in studio and on location. You will also be required to help our teams of Production Electricians with any rigs/derigs as required. This is a physical role involving manual handling elements.

Ideally you will have some television production experience or experience of working in large studio complexes and/or on events. You will be a qualified electrician, with good proven experience of working on your own and as part of a team - ideally you will hold the 18th Edition IET Regulations qualification. You will be self-motivated with good planning and organisational skills. You will possess good IT skills and be able to create maintenance schedules, be responsible for meeting all our testing requirements and share this information with colleagues.
