Production Executive, Magazine & Digital Content

Reporting to the Head of Production, the Production Executive will be responsible for supporting the Head of Production in the management of programmes/digital content within the Magazines & Digital Content area, ensuring that all content is produced efficiently, on spec and on budget and adhere to all compliance issues.
The PE will be expected to control the management of programme/content budgets and monitor all programme costs to ensure that budgets are met, offering advice on ways to facilitate reduced costs to drive efficiency and provide monthly financial reports to the HoP , advising in a timely manner when concerns arise. In the absence of the Head of Production, you may be required to make informed decisions autonomously
Responsibilities will include effectively managing all staffing/resource matters in line with company HR policy including a proactive approach towards career development and performance management; overseeing and spot checking productions to ensure they adhere to legislation, editorial policy and production guidelines; ensuring all necessary legal paperwork such as filming permits, rights licenses, supplier contracts and risk assessments are in place for the production.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within production executive or senior production management capacity within all genres, have experience of managing production teams; have a solid understanding of employment law, copyright and music clearances, and health and safety at work as well as having had previous experience of managing and forecasting large multiple programme budgets. Experience within digital and branded content essential.
The successful candidate will be joining an ever-growing department, therefore it is essential the Production Executive will be able to work harmoniously with the ability to resolve conflict effectively.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a fixed term contract up to January 2022 and may include some weekend and evening work. This role will be based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge (free on-site parking). Flexible working available in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions.
