Production Coordinators

London

We are looking for Production Coordinators to join our Sport & Digital Departments to work across either Live & Non-Live Sport Productions.

The roles would suit those who have experience of working in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills. You will be coordinating complex shoots, booking travel & crew and need good prior knowledge of rights & music clearance; post production paperwork & archive clearance.

Key Responsibilities
· Providing direct support to the Production Manager and wider team, assisting with the communication of key production information to Producers and the editorial team
· Organising and booking travel for contributors & talent both in UK and Internationally.
· Negotiating rates with external suppliers & crew
· Knowledge of co-ordinating and delivering a range of elements from location, studio & OBs
· Producing complex call sheets with accurate and detailed movement orders
· Supporting your production manager with raising purchase orders, dealing with expenses and liaising with finance team where appropriate
· Maintaining accurate financial records; reporting any budgetary issues
· Understanding of Health and Safety policies

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· At least two years Production Coordinator credits in a broadcast environment
· Comfortable working in a busy ever-changing environment
· Experience of dealing with logistics both in the UK and internationally including visa applications and carnets
· Good communication skills and an aptitude to learn new tasks as well as a strong team ethic
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Familiarity with broadcast production workflows & basic technical understanding
· Basic Budgeting skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and production management tools
· The ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
· Ability to work effectively with others, manage relationships in a diverse team and a promoting a positive work ethic
· Ability to work on your own initiative and ability to refer up when necessary
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to react quickly to project changes
· Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and new systems

Location
Kew, London

Working Days:

5 day week, x4 days in office and x1 day WFH.
You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirement.
Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week.
Whisper offer the option of flexitime hours subject to production requirements.
