Discovery's EMEA Creative team consistently produce high-quality, inspiring and interesting digital content as well as traditional promo campaigns for linear TV. We are now looking to expand our pool of freelancers and are keen to hear from Freelance Production Coordinators to manage productions of on air, digital and 360 creative projects. Specifically, we are interested in hearing from those with a background in on air production as well as production for digital content and social campaigns.

As a freelance PC, you will be responsible for overseeing project timelines and budgets for particular campaigns, setting up workflows and processes and creating and maintaining an effective working relationship with all relevant departments involved in the creative and production process.

Specifically, you will be responsible for production management, costing, raising purchase orders, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of campaigns, on time and within budget. You will manage bookings, costings and shoot preparations, assist with reconciliation and forecasting and create and maintain relevant databases. You will be the point of contact issues relating to rights & Ofcom for regional promotions production

You will have proven experience in on-air broadcast environment. We are looking for people who are digital and social savvy as well having really strong admin and organisational skills. It's also important to us that our freelancers are as passionate about our content as we are and are fans of our main brands Discovery, TLC, ID and Animal Planet. You will have strong initiative, a solid understanding of the creative process and the ability to make these work within the restrictions and realities of the production process. You'll have brilliant excel and PowerPoint skills and be a real team player with first class relationship skills. Editing skills are a bonus.
