We are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to join the team for 10 months from ASAP until end of March 2022.

BBC Children Unscripted Development generates and pitches ideas for new and returning shows across a variety of genres such as pre-school and factual entertainment. Working alongside a Production Manager and Development Producers, the Production Co-ordinator is instrumental in supporting the team in a variety of ways. The position in based in Salford or Glasgow, with some remote working until we are able to return to the office.

Role Responsibility
* Dealing with taster/ pilot shoots with responsibilities including but not limited to booking crew and facilities, dealing with logistics, creating callsheets, managing post production schedules and deliverables.
* Raising a variety of contracts on various BBC systems.
* Maintaining accurate records of team leave and training.
* Supporting editorial team with pitches.
* Assisting PM with forecasting/ quotes and maintaining a detailed and accurate cost monitor.
* Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers as well as internal BBC departments.

The Ideal Candidate
* Experience of child licensing is essential.
* Ability to co-ordinate multiple shoots is essential.
* Experience of post-production schedules and paperwork is essential.
* Experience using systems is essential, and knowledge of BBC systems would be highly advantageous.
* Experience in managing small budgets is desirable.
* Knowledge of BBC Children content is desirable.
* Confidence to work independently is desirable.
