Viasat Broadcasting is part of Modern Times Group (MTG), which is an international entertainment broadcasting group with operations that include free-TV, pay-TV, radio and content production businesses. In Europe, MTG currently operates over forty linear audiovisual services that are distributed in twenty-five Member States as well as a number of on-demand audio-visual services. Our Creative Services department is now looking for a Production Coordinator to join our global business. The position will be based at our office in West Drayton / Chiswick, West London and is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 9am to 5.30pm.

Roles & responsibilities

As a Production Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting and maintaining the close working relationship between Production Supervisors, Senior Producers, the Central Marketing Manager and the Creative Directors during the development and production of pay-TV campaigns.

Your duties will include negotiating with external agencies, crews and production companies, allocating projects to producers, coaching voice over artists, supporting the pay-TV team with ad hoc duties and performing production management duties for shoots.

You may also be responsible for the training of new Production Assistants, translation of promotional scripts, raising purchase order forms and ensuring optimal quality and delivery across channels.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience of working within the TV/film industry and have a proven background in production. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, be able to multitask, have previous experience of coordinating projects and be able to negotiate to a high level.

We are looking for a proactive, goal driven individual who is passionate about media and broadcasting. You must thrive on a busy environment and be able to deliver to tight deadlines. Fluency in English is essential and a Scandinavian language skill is also favourable. Excellent Microsoft Office skills are also essential (specifically Excel and Power Point).
