Production Coordinator

London

Soccer Aid Production Coordinator
Circa £27,000 per annum
Fixed term contract until June 2020

A fantastic opportunity to join the award-winning teams delivering Soccer Aid 2020.

Unicef ensures more of the world's children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we're not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

Soccer Aid for Unicef brings together two teams of celebrities and football legends for the biggest celebrity charity football match in the calendar, broadcast live on ITV. Since its inception in 2006, Soccer Aid for Unicef has raised in excess of £30 million to provide millions of children around the world with life-saving food, vaccines, clean water and protection from violence. Now an annual event, we are recruiting ten new roles to support the campaign in 2019.

The Soccer Aid Production Coordinator will work on the planning and production of the appeal films and other elements of the campaign, working with the Soccer Aid Producer, Soccer Aid Series Producer and other key members of staff across the organisation on project plans. You will coordinate logistics and budgets around appeal filming and other international content gathering trips, providing support for set-up and potentially also carrying out some editorial research. You will be the day to day contact for production and broadcast partners, maintaining excellent working relationships across the project.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience of television production, as well as experience of working in communications discipline or working in an integrated way with communications. We are looking for an excellent communicator with proven skills in building credible relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. Experience of setting up international filming would be highly beneficial.

This role offers a genuine opportunity to make a difference to the lives of millions of children around the world.

We particularly welcome applications from LGBTQ+ candidates, candidates with disabilities, and from men, because we would like to increase the representation of these groups at this level at Unicef UK. We want to do this because we know greater diversity will lead to even greater results for children.

Unicef UK promotes equality, diversity and inclusion in our workplace. We make employment decisions by matching business needs with skills and experience of candidates, irrespective of age, disability (including hidden disabilities), gender, gender identity or gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

We are happy to talk about flexible working, personal growth, and to promote a workplace where you can be yourself and achieve success based only on your merit.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children's rights.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
