Production Coordinator
London
We are looking for an experienced PRODUCTION COORDINATOR (non-scripted) to join our dynamic production team. This is an office-based position in South London.
The role is to support the Production Manager coordinating logistics for international shoots. Ideal candidate to have the confidence to take responsibility for managing and delivering tasks, and most importantly - communicating progress.
Role:
Liaising with the series Producer and Director to create shoot schedules
Hiring equipment and sourcing local crew
Arranging flights, accommodation and transportation
Creating call sheets
Communicating shoot objectives and logistics with crew members
Clearing locations and obtaining filming permits
Maintaining accurate financial records for budgeting and expense purposes
Ideal candidate:
Proven interest in human rights / social justice
Experience working on high end documentaries
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Self motivated, meticulous and flexible
Ability to handle a wide range of tasks
Able to balance working on multiple shoots, in multiple locations at same time
Basic budgeting skills
Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and new systems
Good sense of humour essential!
