Production Coordinator

London

Conde Nast Commercial Creative team are seeking a Production Coordinator to join the stills & video branded team and help provide support across all aspects of physical production, and production management.

This role will be majority office based supporting the workflow of multiple shoots with opportunities to assist the Producers on set for live productions. Your day-to-day tasks will include job tracking, supporting ad hoc shoot logistics, production kit management, post production archiving, providing instructions regarding invoicing process, creating purchase orders etc. This person will be collaborative and organised, and will be key in enabling the Production team to fully deliver on production logistics.

Responsibilities:

Support Producers on any logistics necessary for physical productions. This can include car bookings, production kit packing, & styling logistics.

Production cupboard stock-taking, ordering craft, drives etc

Process invoices, track and reconcile expenditures. Familiarity with purchase orders.

Maintain various departmental shoot calendars, spreadsheets, reports and documents on G-Suite.

Keep the production database fully updated.

Update production documents and follow-up as necessary with production teams to ensure business requirements are being met and delivered in a timely manner

Work with producers to keep track of video archiving and music usage.

Additional duties as required to maintain an efficient and effective production environment.

Skills and qualifications:

Experience in both stills & video

Knowledge of physical production protocols, equipment, contracts, releases, accounting/finance practices, and business affairs requirements.

Must be computer savvy with skills in G-Suite by Google Cloud.

Must be highly organised, extremely detail-oriented, and efficient.

Strong interpersonal skills are required - the ideal candidate is a diplomatic problem-solver who brings recommendations and solutions to the table.

Should be a self-starter who takes initiative .

Must work well under pressure to meet deadlines and foresee any challenges.

Must have professional and effective communication skills.

Ability to learn new systems & applications and administer them for the team

Whilst we are looking for someone with the knowledge of shoot production, the most important thing is that you can bring the right attitude and energy to the role.

This is a great role for someone who wants to learn the ropes and expand their career in production - ideally we will be looking for someone with 1 to 2 years experience
