Production Coordinator

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but fast paced Production Management team working on some of the best content around!

The Production Coordinator is required to provide logistical support to productions across MTV UK / International and Comedy Central UK / International. To support the Production Managers in facilitating the internal and external Viacom processes that are required to be followed when producing and developing content. To support commissioning and development which involves but not limited to; delivery and post production schedules, liaising with departments on music, compliance, legal, music, paperwork, production workflows, as well as managing the purchase orders and payments. When required booking crew, post, travel and providing call-sheets, risk assessments and schedules. They will implement Viacom's best working practices. To be the conduit for internal departments and external companies on production processes and practices when working with VIMN.

Primary Responsibilities
To set up systems, workflows and databases where necessary and ensure that they are regularly updated
To ensure that all legal requirements are completed for production (release forms, cue sheets, etc)
To ensure that all internal paperwork required is completed for before production (CAF sign off, Health & Safety checks, Financial checks, P/O raised, Insurance documentation etc)
To coordinate the schedules and delivery of MTV UK & International and Comedy Central UK & International productions, acting as a conduit for information between external Production Companies and internal teams
Follow Viacom procedures in hiring freelancers (production RAFs, HR sign off's)
Collate freelance invoices and ensure they are paid on the next available freelance invoice run
Facilitate the quick and complete set up of new vendors/suppliers using VIMN policies
Working with Accounts Payable, ensure that both internal & external suppliers are paid correctly & promptly.
Work closely with other members of the Production Management team & be able to cover other areas when necessary
To maintain a working knowledge of SAP/Market and to help queries from other departments when necessary
Ensure Production adheres to MTV guidelines on all Travel and T&E policies and any other internal business procedures
To regularly update internal department documents

Secondary Responsibilities
When required compile call sheets and risk assessments for all shoots (e.g. studio, single camera location, outside broadcasts, etc)
When required maintain production cost managers, including inputting all costs spent, running monthly actuals reports to collate against predicted spends, and reporting any concerns to Production Manager as soon as possible
When required to work alongside Production Manager to facilitate the needs of all departments/crew at Outside Broadcasts and large-scale events
When required book all pre-production, shoot & post production requirements for relevant UK & International shows, including travel and accommodation, kit, crew and post production

CORE SKILLSProven Production coordinator experience in similar roles.
Must be able to prioritise workload, deal with people under stressful conditions and have excellent communication skills.
Must be extremely organised
Interest and knowledge of popular culture and multimedia platforms

JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS Must have developed computer skills with advance knowledge of Word & Excel
