Production Coordinator

Bristol

No experience in Immersive/ VR necessary. Experience in Film and TV will convert over.

Limina are a small but fast growing VR company based in Bristol. We are looking for a production coordinator for an exciting new immersive experience that addresses isolation through singing and an immersion into nature through a VR experience in partnership with The NHS and Arden and GEM. The role will include administration, partner and team liaison, scheduling, research and basic HR tasks.

A portion of your time will also be allocated to supporting Limina CEO on other projects.

This will be a remote, work-from-home position.

Responsibilities:
To co-ordinate and take partial or full responsibility for elements of the production process under the guidance of the Producer.

Scheduling meetings between partners and Limina Staff
Managing of production schedule/ staff
Responsible for preparing (or contributing to the preparation of), managing, setting and monitoring of production budgets
Proactively looks for ways of improving efficiencies within a production
Fully support the producer and ensure their workload is managed
Have an overview of all aspects of the production
Organisation of meetings and take responsibility for follow-ups
Take minutes and action points of key meetings
Simple contract creation using templates
Book contractors and communicate with them on Producer's behalf
Proof read documents
Where appropriate, develop and maintain relationships with our partner organisation's team members, for instance a project manager or project assistant at a client.
Other duties when required

Skills and qualities required:
Has at least 9 months experience as a Production Coordinator within a media company
Demonstrable experience of carrying out a Production Coordinator role within a production team
Demonstrable ability to work under pressure and hit deadlines
Demonstrates strong organisational and planning skills and manages conflicting demands to meet deadlines.
Excellent organisational skills, able to calmly juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to use own initiative with confidence, using judgment to escalate where necessary.
Able to problem solve independently and intuitively
Project management skills - will use Excel, Trello or similar to support this
Ideally used to using G-suite apps for business (includes Google calendar, google Drive, Google Docs, etc)
Strong communication skills including verbal and written
Will have developed strong intuition for prioritisation in line with business goals. Able to work out what is urgent and/or important
Excellent time keeping and reliability
We are a fast growing company in the midst of an investment round, so the successful candidate must be flexible, able to handle change and support others in managing change. Our team is likely to grow quickly
A genuine passion for arts and creativity and interest in tech. This interest in the arts could be a hobby, for instance regularly enjoying visits to the theatre, or seeing independent films. An enthusiasm and curiosity for VR is a bonus, but not essential.
