Production Coordinator (Animation Series)

Covent Garden, London

The Production Coordinator will support the Production Team and Supervisors with the management of the production process from pre-production all the way through to post production and delivery. You will work across multiple departments and will become an integral part of the structure of that team. You will act as the link between artists and supervisors and between studios.

To work with the Producer and Production Manager to effectively prioritize, organize, and manage the workflow of the production. To delegate and supervise subsequent work in their assigned departments and to communicate effectively with other Production Coordinators.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Work with the Producer and Production Manager to define, setup, and manage the workflow of assets with respect to the schedule for completion of the work on the production.
* Organize attend and manage dailies and review meetings. Take and distribute notes in reviews and sessions.
* Manage and track workflow and information and transfer of information between departments and completion of artists tasks in our digital tracking system.
* Ensure that the artist have all the necessary information and warn production management in case of work overload.
* Create and update breakdowns from scripts and animatics.
* Find ways to ensure that teams hit goals and deadlines.
* Meet with Production Manager and Producer to discuss and troubleshoot priority issues (such as manpower issues, or schedule difficulties which might affect other departments down the pipe.) (daily, weekly, as needed)
* Communicate with the Producer and Production Manager to prioritize, and if necessary, adjust schedules as required (daily or weekly as needed).
* Produce and distribute the Production Report on a weekly basis which is a detailed weekly status reports to Producer indicating departmental progress.
* Facilitate communication between all departments and external animation studio working on the project.
* Provides administrative support and back up support to the production team including typing memos, documents and schedules, photocopying, computer data entry and filing.
* Develops and uses planning systems and 'work in process' tracking systems.
* Assists in the day to day running of the department(s), managing established schedules through production planning, coordination and troubleshooting.
* Track and follow feedback across various departments including :
> Design
> 3D Assets
> Shots
> Voice Recordings and Pick Ups
* Follow up and update asset statuses and a artist targets in addition to be being able to produce show updates at all times.
* Maintain and update and follow the shot list and activities of his/er department.
* Evaluate with the Producer(s) and Production Manager, Supervisors and Leads targets, quotas and objectives.
* Keep artists and leads and supervisors up to date with information directors and client notes, shot changes and modifications - evaluate this on current workflow.

You will have :
* Minimum of 3 years experience on CG animated series
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Rigorous and thorough and strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage conflicting interests.
* Work well under pressure of production in a fast paced environment.
* Resourceful, proactive and problem solving track record.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Gmail and G-docs and G-Drive usage and Shotgun

About Us
* 12-14 month Full Time Contract
* Normal working hours 9am - 6pm
* Based in Central London
* Starting December 2020
* Salary competitive based on experience.
