ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is looking for an experienced, organised and detail-orientated Production Coordinator to support the production and delivery of our spoken word content. Focusing on our Audible Studios audiobook content but with the opportunity to work across all of our content streams, the Production Coordinator will have a substantial pipeline of productions to co-ordinate from both our in-house teams and third-party producers, and will help to shape production processes and best practices for those projects. You will guide our internal and external partners through the life cycle of the productions. Along with some other team members, you will also assist with the day-to-day running of our in-house studios in Barbican, London. The remit of this role is broad, exciting and challenging.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Audible's Content Team is responsible for the commissioning and delivery of world class audio entertainment. We are a highly creative team who use data and creative relationships to bring true meaning to 'premium content'. The team is the driving force behind Audible UK's production output, producing audiobooks, audio drama, podcasts and theatre productions.

As a Production Coordinator, you will...

Provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the UK Audible Production and Originals teams.
Provide any studio visitors with high-level care and communication when they visit our in-house recording studios, ensure any guests are greeted and introduced to the Audible Studios space.
Be responsible for the co-ordination and updating of our audiobook production slate, ensuring milestones are monitored and met.
Ensure that all audiobook projects are delivered and published within business-critical timelines, and to the highest standards.
Be responsible for casting and producing a number of audiobook productions, and assist on finding new in front of and behind the mic talent.
Assist with the coordination, on-boarding and motivation of a wide range of freelance producers, agents, directors, talent and production companies we partner with.
Work closely with internal teams (finance, production, legal, merchandising, marketing etc.) on production administration, queries, promotional activities and utilisation of our in-house production resources.
Work closely with other members of the Audible UK Content and Production teams on production processes, and contribute ideas for efficiencies and ongoing process improvements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as a Project, Production Coordinator or Assistant. This role requires someone with extensive administrative experience who thrives on organisation, workflows and processes. An obsession over detail is essential.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong logistical, organisational and time-management skills.
Experience of managing or coordinating multiple simultaneous projects, ideally in the media, arts, entertainment or events industries.
Able to work independently, proactively and meet deadlines.
Dedicated team player who works collaboratively and supportively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of invoicing and/or financial software including Microsoft Excel.
An understanding of content production processes.
