Reporting to the Production Executive, this role will support and administer the correct processes for the Film Production Team within an award winning corporate communcations agency. You will be highly organised, enthusiastic and proactive with good verbal and written communication skills, an ability to multi-task across a number of projects, technical knowledge of digital workflows and with an attitude of finding solutions to any challenges which may arise.You will assist Producers, Directors and Editors, co-ordinating the logistical, practical and technical details needed for the smooth running of each project from planning and pre-production through to the shoot and subsequent post-production and final deliverables.You will have experience of working in broadcast or corporate production, including HD and tapeless workflows.You will have good technical knowledge and practical capabilities in the digital media arena.A good general knowledge of the programme or video-making process and must have demonstrated an interest in and ideally some practical experience of post-production/graphics.Ability to plan and anticipate requirements correctly and accurately across all stages of the production process including digital filing and archiving.Day to day responsibilities will cover shoot planning and logistics, finance and cost management, post-production support, internal project management & adminstration and client liaison.Your role will include scheduling shoots, updating running orders, booking technical and creative crew, organising kit hire, creating call sheets, booking locations or studios, arranging casting sessions, arranging wardrobe and props, booking crew travel and accommodation, managing H&S documentation, providing production support to the Director on location shoots when necessary - looking after clients, crew & cast, arranging catering, ensuring filming schedule is adhered to, shot logging and ensuring that release forms are completed as appropriate, raising Purchase Orders, reconciling petty cash and expenses, researching music or footage, co-ordinating digital workflow of drives and rushes: backing up rushes and saving and archiving project files and exports, maintaining project archive library, housekeeping of edit and graphic suites including software upgrades, backing up etc, keeping clients updated by phone or email during projects and ensuring that clients are welcomed and looked after when visiting mcm offices.
