Production/Broadcast Assistant Trainees - 2 positions
We produce and broadcasts original programming bringing to the screen the latest news from behind the scenes of the movie industry. Based at Pinewood Studios this small, dynamic team is looking for 2 trainees to join them from October. Both trainees will assist our two Production/Broadcast Co-ordinators.
Duties
Position 1 - Production Assistant (Production)
¿ Research dates of current and forthcoming film releases.
¿ Contact and request junket slots and EPKs from Film distributors and Pr companies,
¿ Update the weekly in-house production schedule
¿ Update junket schedule and the office schedule boards under instruction.
¿ Research weekly on air presentation announcements and produce a weekly presentation cue sheet.
¿ Ensure movie continuity is received & recorded by relevant deadlines
¿ Location and junket filming assistance
¿ Crew and presenter bookings and purchase ordering
¿ Research and assistance for website content when required
¿ Post
Position 2 - Production Assistant (Post-Production)
¿ Management of the Tape Library Tape movement log - accurately log all tape movement between post production facilities, broadcast areas and Film24
¿ Meta Data entry
¿ Ensure weekly encodes have been distributed correctly
¿ EPK tape chase ups and returns
¿ Tape deliveries to and from playout
¿ Tape stock levels checks and ordering
¿ Equipment management - keep a check on in-house camera equipment, charge batteries, log problems
¿ Research and assistance for website content when required
¿ Ideally have a familiarity with AVID

Both trainees will also be expected to carry out general office duties including post, photocopying, faxing, return of master materials, checking and ordering stationery and fetching office supplies.
Essential
An ability to work fast, accurately and to a deadline. A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to work within a small established team . Good communication skills
Desirable
A full driving licence, experience of working in a production environment.
