Part time position as assistant in Production Company of writer/director Sally Potter. Dual duty assisting director and producers. London Living Wage. Immediate start. Possibility of move to full-time.

Responsibilities for the director:

Will shift depending on point in the production cycle but responsibilities include factual, image, location and casting research; script typing, watermarking and circulating to cast & crew; diarising, minute-taking, and digital filing; archive maintenance and data transfer between file-storage systems and devices. Main communication point between director and crew / public so responsible for sharing sensitive information.
Will be liaising with the director's music assistant.

Responsibilities for the producer/ production office:

Logistics including travel, accommodation and other bookings for director, producer, crew and cast. Paperwork duties include TMOs, work permits, visas, purchase orders, tax forms, union paperwork, licences, contracts and clearances as per feature film delivery schedules.

Booking and shipping of props, costumes and kit. Booking studios and cinemas for screenings - arranging DCPs, KDMs and licences for library titles to be screened at external festivals and events.
Drafting applications for markets, film funds and festivals and attending with some pitching opportunities.
Familiarity with the structure of finance plans and leading sales agents, distributors, finance companies and film funds.

Programs: Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro, Final Draft, Logic, Dropbox, FTP servers, Zoom, Microsoft Office, Mac and PC literate.
