A fast growing international film production company based near Soho, London, is looking for a recent (not more than three years) University Graduate or Film School Graduate or someone accepted to University or Film School on a Gap Year for the role of Executive Assistant/Assistant Producer.

If you have a passion for film, are good with people and working on a team, and would like to learn about and be part of the business side of making films, you are encouraged to apply.

There will be research, emails and phone calls, script reading/script notes, creative input on company film and streaming projects, design and preparation of pitch decks and brochures, creation and editing of pitch trailers (on premiere pro), diary scheduling, and meeting attendance.

Ideally be based in London, have a Mac laptop, and have a passport and be available for travel.

This is paid role on an initial three month contract with a view for a permanent role at an increased salary and title of Assistant Producer.

Desired Qualities

High energy, personable, enthusiastic, with a passion for film, a strong desire to succeed in the film industry and an ability to adjust flexibly to changing circumstances.
Skilled with working with a wide variety of people in person and by phone. Ideal skills/abilities would include calendar and email management, research memorandum and reports, screenplay analysis and notes, graphic design, desktop publishing, video composition and editing, strong analytical and writing skills. Screenwriting, cinematography and directing skills a plus.
Experience with spreadsheets and budgets a plus.
Experience/interest in foreign travel a plus.
Needs to be available some evenings and occasional weekends.
