We require a Film Production Assistant to join our film team and support the two in-house Lead Producers. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding department and be very hands-on assisting with all aspects of film production from conception through to delivery.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have a proven interest in film and the arts, excellent verbal and communication skills, be highly organised, motivated, have an interest in meeting new people, be able to use their initiative, be willing to travel and work evenings and weekends where required. Basic knowledge of camera, audio and lighting set-up is desirable as is editing software including FCPX and Adobe Premiere.

Role responsibilities:
* Coordinating shoots and managing logistics including scheduling, bookings (travel, kit, crew, etc)
* Assisting on-location as a runner
* Assisting with kit preparation and maintenance, servicing, ordering parts, etc
* Interview research
* Writing transcripts and proof reading
* Music research and licensing
* Image research and licensing
* Researching and developing treatments and proposals
* Researching new crew / collaborators
* Editing mood films for pitches
* Editing films for social media
* Research in to tender websites / systems we should be accessing and monitoring of potential work to pitch for
* Assisting with the planning of distribution strategies for films
* Organising the archiving of projects on server
