For more details, please visit www.tnrcommunications.co.uk A vacancy has arisen for a Production Co-ordinator to join the Production team. You will be working on our busy commissioned video service under the direction of the Head of Production and the producers. The role will include: Assisting the Managing Director and Head of Production on a daily basis, as well as assisting the Producers and Project Managers"Selling-in" stories to Broadcast and Online Media and writing up of reports for clients plus postproduction client follow upCoordinating the day-to-day running of the TNR Production desk and be the point of contact for client phone and email inquiriesProviding quotes and detailed explanations of servicesConfirming bookings, organising schedules and drafting call sheets Allocating appropriate production crew and briefing on assignments in advanceBooking kit hireUpdating the Production Schedule (under direction of Head of Production)Supporting Producers on Radio Days and be trained to self op the Radio StudioLiaising with main PA Video team on live jobs and forthcoming eventsPrioritising workloads, tracking live jobs, transcoding and logging footage"Running" on shoots that require additional support, dubbing tapesBooking taxis, bikes, travel and accommodationManaging the library and supporting the producers with offsite virtual library Desired skills: Experience in production either as runner or work experienceIndustry awareness and enthusiasm for news and PRBe a team player but also able to work independentlyHave the ability for attention to detail and be able to prioritiseStrong communication skills and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.Good phone manner along with a diplomatic and patient approach to dealing with clientsBe proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerpointExperience with Adobe Premier Pro is an advantageExcellent written and communication skills Closing date: 24th October 2014 The company encourages applications from all sectors of the community.
