JOB PURPOSE

Perform wish to appoint a Production Assistant to work in our exciting FIBA Media department. This is a freelance / contract position to start with that would potentially lead to a full time. 1-2 years' experience as a Production Assistant is required. Flexibility will be required as it may be necessary to work some unsocial hours and weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the production management team with other adhoc programming for our editorial department who produce a variety of projects every year for broadcast around the world.
· Manage all logistics and coordination of all live events including floats, travel logistics, crew bookings, call sheets and risk assessments.
· Sourcing freelance filming crew and arranging ENG shoots (in-house and external suppliers), travel, managing floats, stock orders and all travel logistics.
· Assisting the Production Manager with the tracking of costs for each event using existing finance trackers.
• Coordinating rotas with the Perform Post Production Team, booking facilities, staff and freelancers.
• Possible travel onsite to outside broadcasts and shoots where necessary throughout the year.

DESIRABLE SKILLS
• Experience of working on ENG shoots and post production environments.
• Knowledge of a production resource tool such as ScheduALL would be an advantage
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• Excellent communicator at all levels, working well as part of a team and independently
• Good knowledge in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Resourcefulness, flexibility & troubleshooting skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Must be pro-active and possess a meticulous attention to detail
• Flexibility with working hours when required
