Position overview:

FT Studio produces a range of market-leading editorial and client-brand content, from animations to immersive and interactive digital websites, mini-documentaries, print and social.

As Production Assistant at FT Studio, you will be involved in the whole production process. The role is technical, creative and administrative. The production assistant will be given responsibility for a wide variety of tasks across all aspects of production. You will have the opportunity to hone your production skills and to explore different mediums and formats. The role will involve supporting across video, digital and animation.



Role and responsibilities:



Document administration (statements of work, terms and conditions, supplier agreements, licences, schedules).
Assisting with booking studios, voiceovers, camera people and editors, production equipment, talent and production staff.
Preparing and distributing call sheets.
Assisting with production budgets and tracking expenses.
Creating timelines and keeping Monday.com projects updated.
Looking for stock footage, hero images.
Assisting on shoots.
Assisting with contributor research.
Handling drives, transcribing and copying files.
Ensuring filming consent forms are signed and filed.
Ad hoc office administration.
Organising calls and meetings for producers.
Booking travel, including taxis, couriers, hotels and other transport.


Requirements:

Any degree discipline is acceptable, although a relevant qualification in journalism, communications or media studies, humanities, English or business studies is preferred.
A broad understanding, experience or a genuine interest in content production targeting business, tech and/or energy/sustainability topics.
Must have strong administrative and communication skills, and some experience of working in a production environment.
Team-oriented, comfortable and experienced working with people in geographically dispersed teams and time zones.
Enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
Client-focused, able to serve with patience and attention.
Consultative and proactive, able to find problems, not just solve them.
Resilient, adaptable and flexible, able to flourish in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
Ability to prioritise and manage competing work requests.
