We're looking for a Production Assistant to join the team at Eventim Apollo, one of London's most renowned entertainment venues.You'll assist and in the absence of the Production Manager's oversee the technical aspects of a production during 'load in' and load out'.You'll assist the Production team with advancing shows, including audio and lighting requirements, seating / flooring set ups and camera positions.You'll also keep the stage and backstage area functioning, clean and tidy and in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines; and where necessary, take immediate action to ensure a safe working environment.Whilst acting as a point of contact for enquiries as to the production of specific events; you'll book staff including riggers, fly crew, stage crew, seating crew, and additional equipment for events.We're looking for someone with experience in event and technical Production operations, including but not limited to staging, lighting, sound and rigging.You'll also have experience of working with contractors and external labour and have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety.With a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and to establish good professional relationships with colleagues and clients you'll be confident in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.You'll be organised in your approach to work and able to work under pressure, managing a varied and busy workload.You'll need to be flexible too and understand you'll need to work around the events which can mean working unsociable hours.You'll want to raise the bar in this role, be solutions focused and look for ways to maximise efficiency.
