Production Assistant

Dublin hybrid HYBRID

Boulder Media is on the lookout for a Production Assistant. It is a full-time, specified-purpose role with hybrid working arrangements (i.e., remote and in-studio working). The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and is required to be based in Ireland. The closing date for the applications is the 7th of December 2023.

About the role
As a Production Assistant, you will work closely with the production team, ensuring an efficient and fast flow of information across the departments. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining asset databases and tracking asset delivery to third parties. You will also be responsible for scheduling and attending reviews and taking detailed notes.


Skills & Other Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Work with the Production Team, in particular with the Production Manager and Coordinator, to ensure an efficient and fast flow of information across the departments;
Maintain tracking documents and keep asset database up to date with all necessary information;
Accurate note-taking on production meetings and conference calls;
Responsibility for preparing model sheets and updating the asset database with the most current design and information;
Prepare hand-out packages for various freelancers, ensure notes and asset information are accurate;
Follow through on assignments and take on busy work from the production team;
Ensure efficient and accurate flow of information across departments;
As part of your continuous development, you are expected to keep up to date with the latest initiatives and developments in your area of expertise for the role, such as (but not limited to) training, learning and development initiatives and mentoring;
Any other duties company management may from time to time deem necessary and reasonably require.


What would we look for?

Previous production experience, ideally in an animation environment, is required;
Experience in database work and maintaining tracking documents is required;
Good understanding of schedules and deadlines;
Comfortable working to tight deadlines;
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel (required) and Google Docs;
Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
The successful candidate must be based in Ireland and have a right to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland.
